大頭落山 First Screening @ 18 Pitt Street... It is done...for the first show. It is not as grand as university grad show or independent film festival show, but it is truly unforgettable and meaningful. Never expect many (it's subjective) people comes, include my father, who never care/ free to know more about what I am working on it. He don't really understand/appreciate what I am doing, but still I know he is supportive (most of the time). It is really a good platform for people to gather and discuss the film. Experimental film definitely requires the audience to think actively, compared to general narrative film. It also reminds me the origin of creating motion picture is to 'show the reality', for example, The Lumiere Brothers's Arrival of a Train on 1895. The context and phenomenon of film is evolving from pure documentation to commercial, but still, the purpose of non-verbal expression is retained.
